The theme encourages artists to ask timely questions about origin, inclusivity, belonging, transition and exchange. 

It also invites artists to consider what it feels like to be excluded or denied on the one hand, and accepted and embraced on the other.

Season 1

Straight White Male

10 artists from across the world created works in response to the words ‘Straight White Male’.

The artworks were selected from 450 UK and international submissions.  The nuanced and thoughtful artworks covered everything from mentruation, manspreading, male identity and power.
