Martin Firrell
I have been documenting Martin Firrell’s public art for over a decade.
Through the use of language his works challenge unjust power systems, including patriarchal power, the oppression of women and non-heterosexuals and the heteronormative status quo.
Engaging directly with the public he provokes a dialogue about a more equitable social organisation.
